A Prayer Gathering for Everyone

Worship led by Dave Dupree and the Music Ministry of Greer First Baptist Church, a challenging message
from Phil, and a time of praying together.

Saturday, Aug. 9, 9:30 AM— “Your Place: A Place of Prayer!”
A Workshop for Pastors, Staff, & Prayer Ministry Directors**

Phil will lead pastors and leaders in looking at “The Prayer Saturated Church,” considering topics like
Breaking Barriers to God’s Presence” and “Motivating the Whole Church to Pray.”

Soccer Balls for Honduras
Soccer is a popular sport in Central America. These multicolored balls are used to share the plan of salvation. GBA would like to send 100 balls to our church planter, Leonel Claros in Parma, Honduras to reach children and youth for Christ. Each ball costs $10 and includes a pump and a card (in Spanish) explaining the gospel. Would you challenge your Sunday School class, small group, or mission group to sponsor several soccer balls so children in Honduras can know the joy of Jesus while they enjoy the fun of soccer. To date we have received funds for 46 balls. We need additional funds by September 1.
